Pino Farina Band’s new single Gone is Gone exposes a tender side in their growing catalog of original compositions. A reflective song with a soft acoustic intro, the sentiment builds into a rising orchestration of instruments and voice. Mixed by fellow bandmate/guitarist Michael Poupko in his Our Music Studios, the layered vocals and music define the sound Pino Farina Band is well known for. Adding several more layers is the talented cellist Eric Remschneider, best known for his contributions to The Smashing Pumpkins’ 1993 album Siamese Dream. Pino Farina’s evocative lyrics conjure up images that play out like a vivid dream in this song that speaks to anyone who has been caught up in something that feels larger than they can overcome.  A reminder that sometimes a different perspective is powerful enough to make a difference and shed a light.
